Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your organisation's and your use of EasyMEAL, a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) platform built by Chiweto. By creating an account or using EasyMEAL, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent.

Accounts & Access

Accounts are created and managed by your organisation's administrator, who assigns roles and project access. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use EasyMEAL for any unlawful purpose or in violation of your organisation's own policies.
• Attempt to access data, projects, or accounts that your role or organisation has not authorised you to access.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation, including attempting to bypass security or access controls.
• Upload data you do not have the right to collect or share, including without appropriate consent from the people it describes.

Your Data

Programme data — projects, forms, submissions, indicators, and beneficiary records — that your organisation enters into EasyMEAL belongs to your organisation. We do not claim ownership over it. Your organisation is responsible for the accuracy of the data it collects and for having the appropriate rights and consents to store it on the platform. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle this data.

Availability

We aim to keep EasyMEAL available and reliable, but the platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may need to suspend access temporarily for maintenance, updates, or issues outside our control.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to EasyMEAL for accounts or organisations that violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or pose a security risk to other users. Your organisation may stop using EasyMEAL at any time; on request, we will support a reasonable export of your organisation's data.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Chiweto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of EasyMEAL, including loss of data, revenue, or programme outcomes. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform or our practices. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify organisation administrators before the changes take effect.
