Overview

EasyMEAL is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) platform built by Chiweto for organisations, government programmes, and research institutions. This policy explains what information we collect when you use EasyMEAL, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account information — name, email address, role, and organisation, provided when your organisation admin creates your account.
• Programme data — project, workplan, indicator, and form-submission data that your organisation enters or collects through the platform, including field data submitted by enumerators.
• Usage data — log-in timestamps, device and browser information, and general usage patterns, used to maintain security and improve the product.

How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the EasyMEAL platform for your organisation.
• To authenticate users and enforce the role-based permissions your organisation configures.
• To generate reports, exports, and dashboards that your organisation requests.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents or misuse of the platform.
• To communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support requests.

Data Isolation & Storage

EasyMEAL is a multi-tenant platform. Each organisation's programme data is logically isolated from other organisations. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted to authenticated users acting within the permissions their organisation has granted them.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the infrastructure and service providers that operate EasyMEAL on our behalf, and only to the extent necessary to run the platform, or where required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on your organisation's policies and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal account information. Requests relating to programme or field data collected by your organisation should be directed to your organisation administrator, as they control that data.
